Misconceptions In Stoicism

You will be facing many misconceptions when you dive deep into stoicism.

In this newsletter I’ll discuss and answer a basic stoic doubt that stoics happen to question once in a while and not searching the answer for this question will drain a lot of mental energy.

You might be asking how it is going to drain my mental energy?

So, for instance you are in a situation where someone has done something miserable to you and you want to discuss it with a friend of yours to find a solution or seek a professional help.

When you express the problem to whatever person, you’ll need to tell them the story and you might think in involves complaining too, but stoics say that you shouldn’t complain, not even to yourself, so how do i deal with this situation?

My answer to this is: If you truly want to state a person about what you experienced then always have a normal tone of level-headedness and not a tone of dwelling upon something and you get to have that inner feeling of responsibility that I am going to solve this problem whilst stating it to someone else, if you just dwell upon it and not find solutions then that comes under complaining.

(In the upcoming newsletter I’ll discuss some more doubts about stoicism and how I surmounted those if you have some make sure to email me)’”
