How To Handle Criticism

Whenever you’re not following a conventional journey in your life, the journey that most people take and end up with results that they’re deeply discontented with, you will be enormously criticized by the masses. Your friends, family, relatives, and mediocre people.

Every person you meet once in a while will regurgitate their suggestion down your throat that how that thing is not going to work out and do what everyone does. And, if you don’t listen to them, you’ll start getting criticized.

You must’ve experienced this too. The big problem is, that many people fall into their sayings and end up taking the “safe path”, which then results in a life they hate.

There’s nothing wrong with taking advice from people and them giving their opinions to you, but what happens is most of those people are not successful in their own lives and the advice they give will unfortunately lead to those lives.

These people work for money. They don’t make money work for them. That’s why they aren’t rich.

If you’re able to seek advice from a person who’s already successful in the aspect that you want to enter too, absorb him. Start working under them and learn as much as you can, because he did something unique that most people can’t even fathom doing, and you’re going to learn those traits too.

So how did I handle criticism? It’s a cakewalk.

Disobey.

Disobey every one of them whom you don’t respect and who hasn’t achieved the success you want.

Yeah, it really is that simple. However, if the criticism comes from a good person, take it and improve.

Disobeying everyone who doesn’t meet the standards you want will be overwhelming, but is that risk bigger than living a meaningless, unfulfilled life? A life lacking financial independence?

You don’t have to point their opinions out and say how are you not going to listen to them. Just take it in from one ear and out from another.

There will always be a next time in criticism so don’t take this bluntly.

Actionable steps:

There will always be the next criticism. So be ready for it. Analyze it.

If the criticism comes from a good person, take it and improve.

Try to make connections with the rich as much as possible because that’s where information flows, and where information flows, money inevitably flows. And learn from them. Take their advice, work under them, and through whatever source you can learn from them.

Disobey.
